📰 January 2026 – Spitfire Spotlight

We’re back for 2026 after a well-earned break, with the workshop refreshed and a busy start to the year already underway.

This month’s Product Spotlight is on our Raptor Trommels, following a big surge in trommel enquiries, quotes and site visits across the UK. Built for dependable screening, Raptor trommels come with bolt-in punch plates/meshes, internal lifting bars, a chain-driven drum (Mini Raptor excepted), easy-access side doors, Nord motors and gearboxes, and a simple on-board control box.

We also continued our close partnership with Northampton College, supporting their upcoming Apprenticeship 2026 campaign.

In Gavin’s Corner, we shared an early look at what’s coming this year: a redesigned Mortar Master, stock building for Mini Screens ahead of spring demand, a new screen model in development, and the possibility of tracked Mini Screens for improved mobility and hire-market potential.

Behind the scenes, the team has been building deck screens for the season and completing a steady flow of repairs. The Sales team started strongly too, securing orders from two new customers and continuing to turn around proof-of-concept designs and budget pricing quickly for bespoke enquiries.
